The Nurse Assistant Pre-certification CNA program trains students for positions in the nursing field and prepares students for the State Nurse Assistant Certification Exam. Successful students can climb the first rung up the professional nursing ladder on the way to becoming a Registered Nurse at significant savings from programs offered by private colleges. This program includes classroom and lab instruction as well as hands-on training in a long-term care facility. In addition to passing the pre-registration assessment, potential students must pass a TB test, a physical, and a criminal background screening to be eligible for this class.
