This course is designed to prepare students for various career paths in the construction industry and for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certifications. Curriculum includes plan reading, rough systems, finish systems and safety, as well as opportunities for networking with contractors and industry experts, job walks, and site visits. Assignments will include hands-on projects, reading assignments, oral presentations, and tests.

Though this class is primarily intended for adults, there is a class in the afternoon open to high school students ages 16 and older. This class is available as a high school credit class, but students must attend at least 72 hours and complete all course learning objectives.
