8 Hour In Person

This is an 8 hour in person training program that prepares students to pass the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) exam and earn a guard card. This program delivers all instruction in person. The course provides the minimum 8 hours of instruction in the BSIS Power to Arrest Courses for students to be eligible for a guard card. The 8 hour program covers powers to arrest and weapons of mass destruction. Other BSIS Mandatory Courses must be completed within thirty (30) days of starting employment. Successful graduates become registered by BSIS as a security guard and work as an entry level guard. More than 90% of students are hired with an partner security firm before they begin training. Program includes course curriculum, LiveScan background check, and BSIS application fee.
