Construction Program

The Construction program is designed to prepare students for various career paths in the construction industry and for Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certifications. Curriculum includes construction terminology acquisition, plan reading, rough systems (framing, electrical, HVAC), finish systems (drywall, finish carpentry), and safety. The course also provides opportunities for networking with contractors and industry experts, job walks, and site visits. Assignments will include hands-on projects, reading assignments, oral presentations, budgets, quizzes and exams.
