Television Production

The Video Production program gives students the skills they need to acquire jobs in various roles of the video production industry for television and commercials. The program consists of courses in editing and line production. Editing students who meet the instructor’s requirements are eligible to work on a production crew that produces live television on location and recorded television in a studio setting.

Though this program is primarily intended for adults, the combined classes are also available to high school students ages 16 and older as a high school credit class. Students must attend at least 60 hours and complete all course learning objectives.
